Natalia Hills & Gabriel Misse
Natalia Hills was one of the dancers of the original cast of the Broadway and London hit "Forever Tango" and the recipient of a 1998 Tony Award and Drama Desk nomination for Best Choreography.
Her Broadway debut was at the Walter Kerr and Marquis Theater. During her association with the company (1995-2005) she performed in major cities throughout North America, Asia and Europe, as well as for the first and only time on stage at the historical opera house Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Born in Buenos Aires, she began her theatrical career at the age of 12 and soon appeared as both a dancer and a choreographer in various national and international productions including appearances in 1992 in NBC Universal and National Geographic.
In 1995, after the very successful London production, she was specifically invited to perform in honor of Princess Diana Spencer at the British Embassy in Argentina.
In the summer of 1998, Natalia appeared in the long-running, popular PBS series "Evening at Pops" with the Boston Pops Orchestra with Leslie Caron as hostess.
During the last years she was featured on Broadway Shubert Theatre in 2004, with appearances on television at the “Today Show” on NBC; at the Hollywood Bowl as principal dancer with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and as special guest artist at the Hollywood's Kodak Theater (home of Academy Awards), the New York City Center , Columbia University and at The Mohegan Sun Casino.
Admired for his classical “tanguero” style, Gabriel Misse is one of the great “milongueros” of this generation.
He started his formation as a dancer at the age of eight with great masters of tango such as Antonio Todaro y Pepito Avellaneda.
In Buenos Aires he acted together with legendary artists such as Julian Plaza, Alberto Castillo, Mariano Mores and Armando Manzanero among others and participated in documentaries produced by National Geographic with Robert Duval and Japanese Television NHK (Japan Television Documentary Film)
In 1996, he was the protagonist in the publicity campaign “Tango” of Gianni Versace.
For many years, Gabriel was part of the Miguel Angel Zotto’s company, “Tango x 2,” in its world-wide tours with “Una Noche de Tango.”
His performances with this company include the City Center of New York, USA, la Mason de la Danse in Lyon, France, and appearances on RAI (Italian Television) among others.
Recently together, Natalia and Gabriel performed at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills, on NBC (National Broadcasting Coorporation) and as special guest artists at the Symphony Space, in New York City when the dance critic Alastair Macaulay at the New York Times published: “The intimacy between them was glorious…”
